What is anxiety?

CBD oil gives you the benefits of Cannabidiol (CBD) without the unwanted effects tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Research suggests the CBD works with CB1 receptors in the brain to increase serotonin levels. Low serotonin levels are common amongst people with stress, depression and anxiety. Studies have shown particularly good results in patients with (SAD) social anxiety disorder and (PTSD) post-traumatic stress disorder.

A 2011 clinical trial which had 24 patients with SAD (social anxiety disorder). 12 took 600mg of CBD oil and the other 12 took a placebo. The conclusion was dramatically reduced SAD and SPIN (Social phobia inventory) amongst the patients taking CBD.

A research study in 2016 found anti psychotic benefits from CBD making it a great alternative to anti psychotic drugs which have some well known debilitating side effects.

Trials amongst animals have shown positive effects on reducing the heart rate and alleviating anxiety symptoms.

Is CBD oil safe?    

Most importantly CDB oil is an FDA approved product and millions of people worldwide are taking CBD oil. Studies have shown minimal to no side effects in the vast majority. Animal and human testing has all pointed towards cannabidiol being a safe compound.

We can safely assume it is a safe product to take, that being said consulting your doctor is always good practice.

The side effects noted with CDB oil are:

  1. Dry mouth
  2. Changes in mood
  3. Changes in appetite
  4. Low blood pressure
  5. Dizziness
  6. Nausea
  7. Diarrhea
  8. Vomiting

Small doses and close monitoring will help you identify any upcoming side effects and manage them as required.

    It seems like this CBD oil and all its related products popularity is getting higher and higher day by day. Thanks for offering this useful information and make it more clear about its benefits and side effects.I am not particularly suffering from anxiety or any other psychological problem.However it is obviously essential for me to figure out more about CBD and getting better understanding for my further reference.Because there are some persons around us whom might need to be required to take this CBD oil as a medication. My only concern is about its side effects like vomiting and dizziness, etc. I will have to absolutely going to make sure that is harmless by getting confirmation from a doctor. Thanks

      Thanks for the comment Shirian. Asking a doctors advice before taking any medication is always a wise move. As far as i’m the side effects listed are very mild and in most cases none at all.

    Am able to learn more on the science of anxiety. It is great to know that low serotonin can arise as a result of anxiety. I had come across many CBD reviews and one of the major things that was stated that it can cure was anxiety. How will I know how true this is? I have someone that is suffering from this anxiety problem and I informed her to get one during their promo. Only Nature knows why she was unable to get it before the promo ends. We haven’t seen until this moment. I will be more than happy if this CBD works has claimed by many people. This review will provide an avenue to learn more about CBD and anxiety via people’s comment.
