The best time to take CBD oil, Timing is everything!
By now you’re probably fully aware of the benefits of CBD oil (cannabidiol). I am going to fill you in on how to maximise the positive impact and discuss the best time to take CBD oil. As with a most products there isn’t a one answer fits all, so we’re going to look into the factors that are going to allow you to get the most out of yours.
From timing and frequency to dosage and effect on the body, read on for your complete guide.
Timing, early bird or night owl?
The time of day you take it will wholly and completely depend on the effect CBD oil has on your body. Some people experience a mental boost and vastly improved focus whereas others receive a calm relaxed feeling from CBD oil.
If your in the group of people who are switched on and perked up then ideally you would be looking at taking your CBD oil upon waking. Perhaps in your morning cup of Joe or in your protein/greens shake. Another option would be just before or during that early afternoon dip a lot of us experience. I personally go for the afternoon as I really struggle to keep motivated by mid day. The CBD oil really kick-starts my fire again and gets me back to that winning mindset.
It goes without saying (but I’m going to say it anyway). If you feel calm and rested after taking it then you would be best served taking it in the evening or right before bed. A well rested nights sleep is one of if not the most important thing you can get.
The benefits of a good kip are going to impact every level of your life from productivity to creativity and all aspects from your thriving career to your fabulous social life. Anything that allows you to nod off that bit sooner and get you producing them body healing REM sleeps is a winner.
Frequency, too much or not enough?
Wether it be taking one serving a day or two to three servings, as with the timing of it this is all gonna depend on how you react to it. I know some folks who take CBD oil regularly throughout the day and keep themselves topped up. Whereas other are happy to just get that one serving per day.
The best courser of action would be to start off with one daily serving and then increase gradually and see how you feel. If it starts becoming too much and you are getting that wired feeling then you know to tone it back down. Similar if it is making you drowsy then reduce the frequency down.
Just remember everybodies journey will be a different one, but the good news is you are the pilot.
How much should I take per serving?
Dosage recommendations range from 200mg per day to 4000mg. Always start off small and increase slowly to allow your body react and any possible side effects to occur.
As a beginner I started with 400mg per day as I am quite a big guy (225lb), I worked my way up to two servings of 1000mg per day and this works perfectly for me. Complete focus and drive without any side effects whatsoever.
Take a journal and log your daily amounts and more importantly how it makes you feel and the change it has one you. As I said before you are the pilot and you can quite easily and quickly work out your best course.
The larger doses of 2000mg+ are generally recommended for patients suffering strong anxiety or some form of chronic pain.
- Mental awareness
- Creativity boost
- Easing nervous tension
- Spiking energy
- Aid sleep
- Chronic pain
- Severe anxiety
- Relieve cancer symptoms
- Help reduce other medical conditions such as Parkinson’s, Sciatica, Arthritis etc.
